Recently, the 2024 National and Guangdong May 1st Labor Award Ceremony of Shaoguan City and the “Model Workers and Craftsmen Assisting Enterprises” special action symposium were held at Shaogang. The commendation notices and decisions of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions were read out at the meeting. Among them, Wu Rangsheng, Technical Vice President of JYC Battery was awarded the honorary title of “Guangdong Province May 1st Labor Medal” and made a speech at the conference as a commendation representative.

Since joining JYC Battery, Wu Rangsheng has devoted himself to the cutting-edge exploration and practical application of lead-acid battery technology. In 2019, he founded the Wu Jiansheng Innovation Studio, leading the team to specialize in developing high-performance lead-acid batteries and conducting in-depth research on related processes and production equipment. With excellent results, the studio was awarded the title of “Wengyuan County Employee (Model Worker) Innovation Studio” in 2022 and was named “Shaoguan City Employee (Model Worker) Innovation Studio” by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions in 2023.
In recent years, Wu Rangsheng has led his team to focus on the two major topics of technological innovation and energy saving, successfully effectively controlling acid mist emissions during the production process and optimizing the company’s environmental protection system. At the same time, he led the introduction of the SPC system, significantly improving the production efficiency and product quality, and promote the pace of digital transformation of the enterprise. It is worth mentioning that Wu Jiansheng team in the punching plate technology research and development has also made significant progress in recent years, this technology has been successfully scaled up for industrial energy storage batteries, not only to overcome the enterprise’s innovation challenges, but also in the industry has made a breakthrough in innovation. Up to now, Wu and his team have completed a number of scientific and technological projects, won a number of utility model patents authorized, showing the team’s R & D strength, but also for the enterprise to win the industry’s widespread recognition. In the future, Wu will lead the team to continue to plough into the field of lead storage batteries, injecting more vitality into the long-term development of the enterprise and helping the industry technology to a new height.
