There is no air collection chamber for water vapor and sulphuric acid vapor in the upper part of the shell, which becomes liquid after the vapor has cooled down and flows back into the electrolyte through the ventilation holes.
The maintenance-free battery is fitted with electrolytes at the factory, which reduces the trouble of preparing and adding electrolytes when in use, plus there is no need to add distilled water use, and it has a temperature-compensated density meter inside to check the density of the electrolyte, and to know the storage condition.
